Wednesday, 27th Apr 2011 - Full Meals

Tonight Obba will be leaving for Korea. I prepared abalone porridge for his breakfast.


Thai Basil Chicken for lunch.


Fried rice using all the leftover ingredients from Viet wrap for dinner.


Bye bye Obba. See you next week!

Tuesday, 26th Apr 2011 - Lunch, Snacks and Supper

Obba insurance agent came to visit him this morning so we have to skipped our breakfast. And we had Vietnamese wrap for lunch.


Deep fried squid and prawn balls before Obba's tennis.


Instant noodles after Obba's tennis.

Monday, 25th Apr 2011 - Full Meals

Cereal in chocolate milk for breakfast.


Prawn bulgogi and Chinese style salted veg fried eggs for lunch.


Fries before tennis.


Smoked pork belly spaghetti and wine after tennis.

Sunday, 24th Apr 2011 - Brunch & Dinner

It has been awhile we went for Dim Sum. We went to East Ocean Chinese Restaurant at Shaw in Scotts Road. We like the food and service there, everyone is very efficient you dont see this kind of service in general nowadays.  After our brunch Obba bought CDs again and this time I bought one too! It's Sam Hui's album. I am not very generous in buying CDs, I like a lot of singers but I rarely buy their albums. Obba made a remark that he felt tired shopping with me hehe..


And dinner, we had the leftover fish from Garuda and the chilies! 

Saturday, 23rd Apr 2011 - Dinner

Saturday is Garuda day! After today we wont be there for 2 weeks. Obba will be going back to Korea first and I will join him later for Father-in-law 49days ceremony.

After our brunch, Obba wanted to go to Suntec for shopping. It has been quite awhile we have not been there. We went for Hagen Daz and I had Monte Carlo and Obba had coffee. After that we to City Link and Obba bought lot of CDs. I am glad he is happy and I think he wants to visit more places before we move to Sydney. Anyway, we had a great time! :)

Friday, 22nd Apr 2011- Brunch & Dinner

Today is Good Friday.

We went to Plaza Singapura for brunch. This is another Obba's favorite. This eatery serves Australian's style menu. Both of us had big breakfast and Obba had black pepper sausage and I had Italian spicy sausage.



As for dinner, I prepared cabbage and prawn with osyter sauce.

Thursday, 21st Apr 2011 - Full Meals

French toasts this morning.



Sambal baby kailan with squids for lunch.


My meatball spaghetti with rocket salad and red wine for dinner. This was my first try ever since we moved to this unit. We love it! However, the picture doesnt look very tasty due to the lighting and health concern. ( I dont like it to be too oily)

Wednesday, 20th Apr 2011 - Breakfast & Dinner

Obba has to get his HP laptop's battery replace and the service center is around Vivo City and we had our lunch at Garuda. As usual the service at this branch were terrible. We went for ice-cream after our lunch and I did some window shopping and Obba bought another tennis shirt again. ^^

As for dinner, I made beef burger, baked sweet potato and cauliflower soup with Shiraz. I missed the beef patty while taking this photo :((

Tuesday, 19th Apr 2011 - Breakfast and Lunch

Same breakfast as yesterday.


Black beans prawns, sambal califlower and Korean fried anchovies for lunch.


I cant remember what I prepared for Obba before tennis and if I am not wrong we had some Belgian chocolate from St. Michael and instant noodles after tennis.

Monday, 18th Apr 2011 - Full Meals

Abalone porridge with kimchi for breakfast.


Califlower with balanchan sauce for lunch.


Obba had kimchi pancake (forgotten to take pictures) before tennis and instant noodles after tennis while I am at my parent's place.

Sunday, 17th Apr 2011 - Full Meals

After two days of rest, I managed to make something better for my husband. We had Ewa's style big breakfast and coffee this morning. This time I used panini bread for toasts. (honestly speaking, I like the bread but not the name. It sounds vulgar in Hokkien : P)


Seafood tempura and pollack soup for lunch.


Homemade chicken fillet burger with fries and orange juice.

Saturday, 16th Apr 2011 - Not Cook!

Today is the last two days for tax filing. By the time we finished, it already past 2pm. We did not go for our usual brunch instead we went to Raffles City for lunch. We found this restaurant serves all type of sambal dishes, the food tastes great but a bit too oily (actually more than a bit oily, its very oily!). After lunch, we went for cheese cake then we went home.

I wasnt feeling too well these few days so I prepared whatever leftover from the fridge as dinner for Obba.

Friday, 15th Apr 2011- Breakfast & Lunch

Korean style squids bulgogi and I just realize that we have been eating too much squids!


YumYum! Take out from Jumbo Seafood. Obba wanted to stay home to watch tennis and I was lazy to cook.

Sunday, 10th Apr 2011 - Dinner

This week is Chinese Qing Ming.

This morning we went to pay our respect to my late maternal grandparents at Mandai (1st level 71 & 72) with my parents and my mother's siblings. We also went across to other building to visit my late paternal uncle. This was my husband first time. After that we all went to Ang Mo Kio Hub food court for lunch and I ordered sambal seafood set for Obba and I had claypot fried fish. We left everyone there after our lunch as we had to be back home to prepare for house viewing. (we will be moving to Sydney so we need to rent out our Condo)

As for dinner, we finished our leftover budaejjigae with some banchan.

Saturday, 9th Apr 2011 - Dinner

It's been 3 weeks we didnt visit Garuda.. And brunch time!!! As for dinner we had budaejjigae. Yum Yum.
