Wednesday, 16th Mar 2011 - Dinner

This morning Obba had an early meeting so we have to skip breakfast. After his meeting we went to another Obba's favorite restaurant at International Plaza for lunch. We had again sambal kangkong, sambal prawn and mapo tofu.

As for dinner, we had spicy fried pork and spicy steamed tofu. (I forgotten that we already had tofu for lunch sorry Obba..)

Tuesday, 15th Mar 2011 - Full Meals

Breakfast - Chive creme spread, sliced cucumber, smoked salmon, oven-baked bacon and goat cheese on ciabatta bread with coffee.


Sambal eggplant and fried fish for lunch.


Triangle kimbap with side dishes before tennis.

Instant cold noodles (mul naeng myeon) after tennis :)

Monday, 14th Mar 2011 - Full Meals

Homemade sandwich with coffee from Starbucks. Chive creme spread with honey baked ham, rockets with mustard and goat cheese on ciabatta bread. Enjoy!


Kimbap and ugeojiguk for lunch.

Sunday, 13th Mar 2011 - Dinner

Our brunch at Plaza Singapura. Spicy Italian sausage and coffee. (always forgotten to take pictures.. )

Saturday, 12th Mar 2011 - No cooking!

I LOVE Saturday! No breakfast and straight from bed to brunch! ^^ Today I managed to take more pictures of Garuda food. Enjoy!



 

Sambal kailan, sambal prawn, beef potato and fried fish on the way. yummy!!


We had pizza for dinner at Brewerks but ended up with some unpleasant moments... : (

Friday, 11th Mar 2011 - Breakfast

Leftover porridge from yesterday...

 

Hooray! My Obba will be having lunch with his friend at Dome whichmeans, I will have sometime to do ironing! As for dinner we had Japanese food.

Thursday, 10th Mar 2011 - Full Meals

Finally we had something different for breakfast. ^^ Homemade clams porridge with side dishes and coffee.
 

Soondubu and broccoli & prawn in oyster sauce for lunch.


Oven-baked chicken wrap with leftover potato soup and beer for dinner. I am so pround.. I made the tortilla myself !^^

Wednesday, 9th Mar 2011 - Full Meals

As I have said yesterday, we will be having the same breakfast for the next few days! : (

 

We had homemade marinated radish and squid bulgogi for lunch.


Dinner - pasta with chicken tomato sauce and broccoli soup with beer. 

Tuesday, 8th Mar 2011 - Full Meals

Next day breakfast will be the leftover sausage rolls and coffee and we will be having the same for breakfast for a few days..

 

New dishes for lunch - cold tofu and kailan with oyster sauce.

Monday, 7th Mar 2011 - Full Meals




Monday Blue... Homemade red bean pau (hobbang) and chamomile tea for breakfast.



 New dish for lunch will be homemade marinated mushroom.

It Sunday again! This morning we are having the same assorted toasts and coffee.



For lunch, I have prepared a new local dish - chai poh nuang (in Hokkien) means salted veg fried with eggs.

 

Tonight's dinner were prepared by my Obba - Korean fried rice cake. Yummy! Thanks Obba!

Saturday, 5th Mar 2011 - Dinner

It is Saturday again! I love Saturday! This is the day I can skip preparing breakfast without guilt :))
As usual, we went to Obba's favorite Indonesian restaurant - Garuda for brunch.



After the lunch, we went to Marina Barrage for a walk. In future, we can walk from our home to Marina Barrage but it will take more than an hour or so. : )


As for dinner, I prepared beef seaweed soup, kimchi with sardine and homemade chive kimchi, marinated mushroom & anchovies with beer. 오빠, 마니마니 먹어요!

Friday, 4th March 2011 - Full Meals

This morning we had toasts and coffee for breakfast and the white bread spread was chosen by Obba. It was a Chive & garlic cream cheese spread. Yummy!



As for lunch, we had kim-chi stew, chive dumplings, homemade black beans & anchovies with my mother's ginseng roots tea. Thank You, Mom! :*



It have a been quite awhile we had pasta so I made chicken breast spaghetti and salad with bacon and beer for Obba. Enjoy!


Thursday, 3rd Mar 2011 - Full Meals



We had junk food for breakfast as I dont have anything else for breakfast.



After three day Obba finally can enjoy his Korean food. We had the leftover from the fridge for lunch. Marinated squids, seaweed soup, homemade chive kimchi & raddish and sambal baby kailan with CokeO.

We had Japanese food for dinner and went for groceries shopping! : )

Wednesday, 2nd March 2011 - Cameron Highland

Today will be our last day in Cameron Highland. We woke up earlier than usual for our breakfast and went back to the room to pack up. The coach ride back to the foot of Cameron Highland were terrible especially after breakfast. The road were curved and sharp. The coach went round and round down to the road and I almost throw out all my breakfast. Finally, about an hour later we reached the road to the highway and head back to Singapore.

By the time we arrived Singapore it was already almost 8pm. We went to my parent's place to pick up our kittens as soon as we drop our bags. As soon as we reached home again we were famish and I prepared kim-chi ramen for Obba.


Tuesday, 1st March 2011 - Cameron Highland (Wedding Anniversary)


Today we will be having our first breakfast in the hotel. We chose a balcony seats facing the mountain. They are serving almost full international breakfast with some Asian touch. after the breakfast, we took a few pictures from the restaurant. 


After our breakfast we went back to the room for nap (Me) again : ) and Obba busy working again. According to the tour guide, the taxi fare will add up quite a lot for us to go to the city so we decided to walk down to the city for lunch and it should takes us about half an hour.By the time we reached the foot of the hotel, its already took us half an hour and it should take us another half an hour to the city.. we decided to take a stroll around that area and walk back up to the hotel.

It took us less time than we expected and we were famished. We went straight to the coffee house for snacks. Obba had a beef rendang pie and I had a scones. The pie tastes good and the scones just so-so.



After the snacks we went back to the room for shower and take another quick nap. As today is our 3rd wedding anniversary, we wanted to go for a romantic dinner at the steak house but we changed our mind as the Thai food we had last night were too good for us to resist! And we ordered almost the same dishes except the TomYam soup.

Monday, 28th Feb 2011 - Cameron Highland

We arrived at Cameron Highland around 6 am morning... the weather was cold especially in the early morning. We had KFC breakfast at the nearby KFC store and we head to our half day tour after breakfast. The itinerary included visits to Butterfly Garden, Rose Valley, Tea Plantation, Tea and Strawberry Cafe and Roadside Stalls for souvenir shopping.

We had our "lunch" at the Strawberry Cafe.

After the half day tour, we could check-in to our hotel - Strawberry Park Hotel. We had a ground floor unit with balcony. We took a short nap (Obba) and long nap (Me) for the rest of the afternoon. We had ThaiFood  for dinner and the it turned out that the food were really great!!



TomYam Soup, sambal kangkong(water spinach), Thai chili & basil prawns, stirred-fried beef with capsicum and a bottle of blanc. Yam Seng!! : )

Sunday, 27th Feb 2011 - Full Meals


I did not go to the supermarket for more food as we will be going to Cameron Highland  tomorrow. This morning we have a super simple breakfast : )


Kim-chi fried rice for lunch.



Whatever leftover in the fridge for dinner! : ) and getting ready to send Jaden and Jadie to my parent's place and then take off to Malaysia! Enjoy!
